Chapter 92: Sea Emperor? Pathetically Weak!
He had originally thought that Kshura would be a force on par with Shaka, but after seeing him today, he realized that Kshura was not only inferior to Saga, but far beneath Kanon as well.
“Is this the level of all the warriors in the sea realm?”
Feng Zhe shook his head, unable to muster any interest in such a lackluster battle.
Yet Kshura, the Prince of the Seas, could not tolerate being ignored. Fury overtook him. “Prepare to die!” he shouted.
The Golden Spear—legendary artifact said to pierce all evil—its surging force so intense that even the air itself could wound a man.
A metallic clang rang out.
At some unknown moment, Feng Zhe had produced a dazzling shield, its brilliance marking it as no ordinary relic. The Golden Spear failed to penetrate this shield, hanging motionless in the air as its mighty aura faded, rendered pitiful before the shield’s power.
“The Shield of Athena?!”
The Sea Prince stared in disbelief at the artifact barring his spear’s path, his expression growing sullen.
“So, they say you are the son of Poseidon, gifted the Golden Spear for that reason. But tell me, is your spear truly mightier than my shield?”
His words dripped with mockery, inflaming the Sea Prince’s anger further.
“Mortal, you have infuriated me!”
The Great Light!
Another secret technique, harnessing the power of nature itself—known as the Mahā Laser—a beam of pure radiance shot directly at Athena’s Shield.
If struck by this move, the intense light would rob an opponent of sight and sensation, torturing body and soul until death.
But Athena’s Shield held firm, keeping Feng Zhe unharmed, untouched by even a hint of damage.
“He’s merely a watered-down version of Shaka!”
After withstanding three consecutive assaults, Feng Zhe had a clear measure of his opponent’s strength.
The time had come. With a single punch at the speed of light, he sent the prince crashing down.
Then he rose gently into the air, crossing his arms and making a strange gesture. His cosmos surged in full force, an overwhelming pressure pinning Kshura in place. The fear of death seized his heart entirely.
The man before him was wreathed in blazing flames—no ordinary fire, for even the air itself seemed to burn. Raising the conflagration high, Feng Zhe flung it downward without hesitation.
In that moment, the Sea Prince felt the shadow of death looming over him. Unconsciously, he closed his eyes, bracing himself for the end.
But a figure appeared between him and the fire, catching the flames single-handedly. With a wave, the fire vanished into nothingness.
Opening his eyes, the Sea Prince realized he was still alive. A refined young man stood before him, strikingly handsome, exuding nobility and the presence of a true god.
“Lord Poseidon!”
The prince dropped to his knees, trembling with awe.
Feng Zhe addressed him calmly, “Poseidon, Lord of the Seas.”
Indeed, the newcomer was Poseidon himself, now incarnate in the body of Julian, heir to the shipping magnate.
Julian gazed at Feng Zhe and spoke softly, “You must be Alexis, the Pope of Sanctuary.”
A true god and the Pope of Sanctuary, Athena’s representative on earth—two supreme leaders meeting under these unlikely circumstances.
“Lord Poseidon, Sanctuary has no desire to provoke war. Why persist in this futile conflict?”
Feng Zhe had always despised war, especially meaningless slaughter. Why not sit together, enjoy life, and talk things over?
Julian smiled. "Every Holy War is a contest between Athena and Hades. The sea realm has always been the weakest. Now that I am fully awakened, I must challenge Athena and see for myself who truly rules this world!"
“You mean to rely on your seven Mariner Generals?”
It wasn’t that Feng Zhe looked down on them, but they were undeniably unimpressive.
Even the strongest, Kanon, was only at the threshold of the Seventh Sense. As for this so-called Sea Prince, he hadn’t even awakened the Seventh Sense. Instead of refining his cosmos, he wasted time on natural energy, even borrowing the name ‘chakra’—did he think himself a ninja?
“So you really do look down on my sea realm!”
With a gesture, Julian summoned a unique scale armor before him. It assembled itself onto his body.
As Julian raised his trident high, his cosmos exploded outward, forcing Feng Zhe to take a step back.
Julian thrust his trident forward, and once again, Athena’s Shield blocked the attack.
But unlike the Golden Spear, the trident’s assault, though unable to pierce the shield, sent a numbing shock through Feng Zhe.
After three exchanges, Feng Zhe’s hands were bleeding, his arms so numb he could barely move.
“As expected of a god!”
With grim determination, Feng Zhe unleashed his ultimate technique:
The Twelve Palaces’ Roar!
As the sacred fire of the Zodiac blazed before him, its brilliance rivaled the sun.
Like a single-person Aurora Execution, unleashed on this island, it struck with the force of a meteor, raising waves a hundred meters high.
The Sea Prince stared in astonishment. He could hardly believe a mortal could wield such power—this was the domain of gods!
Even Julian’s face changed, hurriedly summoning the full force of his divine cosmos to shield both himself and the prince.
When the chaos finally subsided, Feng Zhe was nowhere to be seen. He had long since departed.
“Lord Poseidon, the Pope of Sanctuary’s power…”
The Sea Prince was nearly driven to despair. Fear gnawed at him, threatening to consume his soul.
“Summon the Seven Mariner Generals to the Citadel Palace at once. I have instructions for them.”
“But Sorrento is in the North…”
“Recall him. Now is not the time for all-out war with Sanctuary.”
Julian vanished from the island, leaving the Sea Prince behind, his face twisted in frustration.
…
Northern Europe
After days of fierce battle, only Siegfried, the Dragon Twin-Star God Warrior, remained alive before Hilda. All the others had fallen at her hands.
As their leader, Siegfried was indeed the mightiest of the God Warriors. Even against three Gold Saints, he held his ground.
Meanwhile, the Five Bronze Saints, desperate to restore Hilda’s sanity, launched a concerted assault on her.
“You will not harm Lady Hilda!”
Siegfried shouted, unleashing his ultimate technique, the Fierce Dragon Blizzard.
Aquarius Camus, Scorpio Milo, and Capricorn Shura—the three Gold Saints—intercepted Siegfried’s attack.
Shura’s sacred sword struck him directly, blood streaming from Siegfried’s arm—a grave wound.
Hilda, Queen of the North, fought with formidable might; the Nibelungen Ring in her hand wielded with unerring power, striking wherever she aimed.
The Five Bronze Saints could not even get close, much less restore her to herself.
Meanwhile, Lady Saori, Athena herself, stood ceaselessly in prayer, her strength nearly depleted. If Hilda could not soon be saved, Saori would be the first to fall.
