Cui Ze quickly calculated that the large batch of bait obtained from the death bombardment, combined with the five F-rank zombies he had previously taken down alone, could be exchanged for exactly four E-rank baits!

Cui Ze felt no regret, as his previous haul was already substantial. Without looking back, he exited the town.
Along the way, he continuously used his “Beast Breathing: Spatial Awareness” for wide-range reconnaissance, heading toward a relatively desolate and remote wilderness. Eventually, he arrived at the foot of a bleak little rocky peak.
“I’ve retreated far enough now... This small rocky peak is a desolate environment with little zombie threat; its elevated terrain and good visibility make it perfect for a temporary base over the next few days.”
Legs aching, Cui Ze sank onto a huge boulder at the foot of the peak, leaning his back against the stone. He rummaged through his supplies for some rations and drinks, slowly replenishing the energy he had heavily expended.
