"Enough nonsense. Hand over Jiang Nansheng, and for the sake of the Master of Chushan Sect, my Black Fiend Legion can show some leniency. Otherwise, keep in mind that this is neither the Sovereign State nor within Chushan Sect territory. Here, my Black Fiend Legion has never feared anyone."

The Dwarf Divine Lord’s face turned cold, and his tone was blunt, as if he possessed some secret leverage.

"Could the Black Titan really have arrived?"

Chu Tian, dressed in Taoist robes, flickered with emotion, yet he replied, "What Jiang Nansheng? Is the Dwarf Divine Lord perhaps mistaken? I have no desire for conflict, but do not mistake my Chushan Sect for being timid. Even here, I am confident in protecting my disciples. Does the Divine Lord believe me?"

"Why bother babbling with this demonic scum? You short-legged ghost, you should have died under my sword twenty years ago. It was pure luck you escaped with your life back then, but today, things won't be so easy."

Bai Ling, clad in white martial attire, had always despised evil. Seeing the Four Devils of Black Blood resorting to threats, her fiery temper flared, and she drew her sword, ready to strike.

"Heh, you mad hag, do you think I'm afraid of you?"

The Dwarf Divine Lord sneered coldly, his arm darting out to snatch a hooked blade—his signature weapon, the Soul-Snatching Hook.

As the Dwarf moved, the three other Divine Lords beside him also drew their weapons, and the disciples behind them followed suit. A massive battle was clearly imminent.

Just then, Hu San frowned slightly and looked into the distance. In his perception, two figures were approaching at a speed far exceeding that of ordinary top-tier experts.

"It seems this fight won't happen after all."

As they drew closer, Hu San’s sharp eyes clearly made out the arrivals. After observing their state, he quickly drew his own conclusions.

Beside him, the white-robed old man was looking at the scene with excitement, muttering, "These are all top figures of the martial arts world, their cultivation having reached the realm of the divine and enlightened. Witnessing their battle might be of greater benefit to us than even the Wuliang Scripture."

As he spoke, the old man's expression suddenly shifted, his gaze turning to the sky in surprise; he had only just sensed the arrival of the two.

The old man noticed the anomaly, and the experts in the arena, already on the brink of conflict, were not slow to react. After a brief moment of shock, they all wore expressions of relief, backing away to clear a space in the center.

The sky had fully brightened; the last traces of dusk had vanished, and the soft morning light from the rising sun bathed the entire ancestral hall in a golden glow.

Within this golden radiance, two figures descended like giant birds. As they reached the hall, they split, one landing before the Chushan Sect and the other beside the Four Devils of Black Blood.

When the light faded, everyone saw that a new person had appeared on each side. On the Chushan Sect side stood an old man with a youthful face and white hair, holding a handsome young man who appeared to be in a deep, unconscious slumber.

On the side of the Four Devils of Black Blood stood a bald, muscular man, his upper body bare, revealing bronze skin and muscles as solid and protruding as rocks.

The crowd quickly recognized the pair, and a wave of gasps rippled through the air.

From the whispered conversations around him, Hu San learned their identities: one was Chu Qian, the current Master of Chushan Sect and an absolute supreme expert of the righteous path; the other was the mysterious "Devil of Devils," a figure of unknown age known as the "Black Titan," leader of the Black Fiend Legion.

Even the previously composed white-robed old man lost his calm, his lips trembling as he murmured, "I never expected them to actually come. This is going to be trouble."

Hu San studied Chu Qian for a moment but could not gauge his strength from his aura. As for the Black Titan, his body radiated a fierce, rugged intensity—the kind Hu San had previously sensed only in early-stage demonic beasts. Clearly, the Black Titan’s physical strength was formidable.

"It seems the Black Titan hasn't transcended the limits of a martial artist; he's definitely not a sorcerer, and certainly not a cultivator. Yet, how did he break through the martial limits? And this Chu Qian—he walks a different path. Could it be that ordinary martial artists have other paths to cultivation beyond becoming sorcerers or immortals?"

"These two are far stronger than typical peak experts. They could likely hold their own even against a Great Demon like a giant bear. No wonder they hold such reputations."

Hu San quickly judged their strength based on their aura. While he didn't find them particularly impressive, they were formidable to ordinary martial artists. He found his interest shifting from the Wuliang Scripture to the secret of their cultivation paths.

"Greetings, Sect Master. Sect Master, what happened to Young Hero Jiang...?"

In the center, Chu Tian and the others hurried to greet Chu Qian. Seeing Jiang Nansheng’s condition, Chu Tian frowned.

"Haha, no need to worry, nephew. The boy Jiang merely suffered my Black Absolute Palm. With my Absolute Spirit Pill and my Innate Skill, he will recover in a quarter of an hour. You should be more concerned about your father's injuries. At his age, he should stay home instead of running around—it's truly irresponsible."

Before Chu Qian could speak, the Black Titan chimed in.

Just as Hu San had sensed, the Black Titan’s voice was resonant and powerful, showing no signs of decrepitude; he sounded like a man in his prime. Even more surprising was the revelation that Chu Tian was Chu Qian’s son, though judging by the reactions of those around, this was already common knowledge to everyone but Hu San.

"Sect Master?" Chu Tian trembled slightly.

"It is nothing. Help the boy, Jiang," Chu Qian said, shaking his head. He allowed Chu Tian to help support the unconscious Jiang Nansheng, then narrowed his eyes at the Black Titan. "Brother Titan, your words are quite true. I assume your old age made it difficult to endure my Demon-Slaying Slash? If I were you, I would immediately drop everything and find a quiet place to suppress the power of the Myriad Beasts within my meridians, lest the energy surge and shatter your channels, leading to death."

It seemed this encounter had not resulted in a clear winner, but a mutual injury.

"Brother Chu, you are too modest. With you for company, no matter how busy I am, I would always make time, wouldn't I? But for your own sake, you should return to the Chushan Sect’s Water Spirit Pool to recuperate. If your Water-Form Qi backfires, it would be no laughing matter."

The Black Titan smiled, seemingly unconcerned about his own injuries. As for Chu Qian, with the Wuliang Scripture on the line, he had no intention of backing down.

The two probed each other for a while, neither daring to strike due to the other's capabilities, leading to a tense stalemate.

A moment later, the Black Titan’s eyes flickered toward the onlookers. He bared his white teeth and laughed, "We’ve been at this like a circus act, making a spectacle for everyone. Tell me, Brother Qian, regardless of who ends up with the Wuliang Scripture, this is a matter between our two sects. Why keep these idlers around?"

"If you find it difficult to act, my Black Fiend Legion will handle it. I guarantee not one will be left, so your reputation in the martial arts world won't be tarnished."

As these words fell, a chilling murderous intent permeated the air. The crowd, who had been enjoying the show, suddenly remembered that this burly man was no kind soul, but a terrifying devil who killed as easily as drinking water.

But it was too late to leave. Under the Black Titan’s aggressive gaze, no one dared to be the first to flee. They pinned their last hopes on the Chushan Sect, praying that this noble sect would be as righteous as legend claimed.

"Brother Titan, that is too much. Why not have these martial arts friends leave after swearing an oath of silence, with a few men from our sects keeping watch? Why create such needless slaughter?"

Before the crowd could rejoice, the Black Titan interjected, "Watching them is too much trouble. How about this: as long as they take my Black Fiend Pill, I will spare their lives."

Chu Qian hesitated, then looked at the crowd with a bitter smile. "If you trust me, please take the Black Fiend Pill. I swear on the honor of the Chushan Sect Master that once this is over, I will retrieve the antidote for you. If I break this oath, may I be destroyed by heaven and earth. Given the circumstances, I hope you understand."

"If you truly wish to leave, I will not stop you. Alas, such is fate; what can a man do!"

After saying this, Chu Qian ignored the crowd and turned to confer in low tones with Wang Shan and Chu Tian, leaving the martial artists to stare at one another in dismay.
