Let me inform everyone.
How should I put this… Actually, I wasn’t slacking off. After the New Year’s Eve dinner, I went home to get ready to write… And then I got stuck! Completely stuck, as if someone had jammed an iron rod into the turning gears… So I started over, sorting through the plot, the characters, the logic… In the end, I realized… This book is ruined.
After more than a year without writing, I was unprepared, yet too eager to do well, so I pushed myself too hard… Originally, I was ready for this book to completely flop. I didn’t care about the results, only hoped to rediscover the feeling of writing. But now, it’s meaningless. The relationships and logic between the characters have collapsed. If I force myself to keep writing, I won’t even achieve the goal of training myself.
It’s been tough… Night after night, I struggled, scrapping tens of thousands of words, searching for a new angle… But I failed. So, I have no choice but to drop it. Including this level 5 author account, which I have to abandon as well… Thank you all for your continued support. But… I’m sorry. Truly sorry, everyone!

These words above were written many days ago. I never posted them, because I was deceiving myself—as if by not logging into this account, not reading comments, not caring, I could pretend nothing happened. These past few days, the thought kept nagging at me—it’s like owing someone money. If I play dead, ignore calls and messages, how miserable must the lender feel?
Even if I’m scolded, even if it’s embarrassing, I can’t let others’ trust and support go to waste. So, I must give everyone an explanation. I’ve decided to abandon this pen name. Whether I’ll merge pen names in the future remains to be seen. Only heaven knows how painful it is to give up this pen name.
But… sigh…
After some preparation, I’ve started a new book under a pseudonym: “This New Employee Is Too Fierce,” pen name Tao Li Gua. If anyone still wants to read, feel free to check it out. It should be just a little better than this one…
I won’t say much else. I owe you all, and apologize again! It’s all my fault!
